Our Mission . . .
The Cincinnati Art Club supports the growth of artists and the art they produce to enrich our community.
The art to be submitted can be derived from historic works related to our founders. It can be portraits or representations of Club functions, past or present.

This historic exhibition will be hung in the Wessel Gallery opening April 9, and running through April 19, 2021. The Gallery will be open daily (except Monday) with the support of a volunteer staff - 10:00AM - 5:00PM For maximum exposure the exhibition will have an opening reception and awards Friday, April 9th, 6:00- 9:00PM. Additional plans for special events are under consideration, check back for updates!

Almost all of us have painted the Roebling Bridge, but what about the construction?
The funds raised during our Founders’ Celebration will help sustain programs and future initiative of the Cincinnati Art Club.
Through the art exhibition we will celebrate the history of the Cincinnati Art Club and how it is married to the history of the city of Cincinnati. The exhibit will be held in the Wessel Gallery opening Friday, April 9, 2021, and running through Sunday, April 18th.
The primary fund raising event is a fine art juried competition based on history. . .
There are so many possibilities!
Paint your interpretation or impression that represents the Club’s Founders and our heritage Paint the landscapes, landmarks that are still standing and have withstood the test of time. Paint what you think is unique to the Cincinnati area Paint the scenes of people, places, things that say Cinci to you – past or present Enter up to 3 works in any medium - All artwork must be original & for sale The only restriction is that the art was not exhibited during the Founders’ Week exhibit in 2020. Besides cash awards for first, second & third place, there will be special awards for: Best River Scene, Best Historical scene. and Best Park scene
