An Invitation to Exhibit in this years
Founders Celebration
Last year the Cincinnati Art Club initiated what is to become an annual tradition. . . The initial Founders’ Week program was scheduled to run March 7 through March 22, 2020, but was cut short by the pandemic COVID-19 Coronavirus. This was to be two weeks of special events that projected our rich history, and the contributions of our founding members that added to the artistic cultural development of Cincinnati and the region. This was to be a celebration of the history of the Cincinnati Art Club, and how it coincided with the history of the city of Cincinnati. The exhibit, was held in the Wessel Gallery, but due to the pandemic, closed on the fifth day, canceling eight of the planned programs and demonstrations. This year The Cincinnati Art Club continues what was begun a year ago. Once again we embrace our heritage through a fine art competition, exhibition, and sale continuing the celebration of our history, our founders, and our great city of Cincinnati. This is a fund raising event that will open in the Wessel Gallery on Friday, April 9th, and will remain open to the public through Sunday, April 18.
